Box 85, Lexington, Missouri 64067-0085, 1990), p. 156: David Prichard Gassaway (Gazzaway) also fought in the Confederate Army. He was wounded in the thigh in the battle at Miller’s Cornfield at Sharpsburg, 17 Sept 1862. He was a prisoner of war at Fort McHenry, Maryland, and at Knoxvile, Tennessee.
