Her adoptive mother's Will left all her property to a widow, Mrs Ann Pincombe of St Thomas, Elgin county, Ontario, Canada, stating that the said Mrs Pincombe shall have custody and tuition of her adopted daughter Marina Geake.
Marina died on November 12, 1905 in St Thomas, Elgin county, Ontario and at the time, her address was on East Street. She was a 14 year old school girl and the cause of death was "acute gastritis 5 days and she was buried in St Thomas Cemetery and shares a gravestone with many Pincombe family members.[1]
