On 7 April 1861 John Northway (49) Copper Miner, wife Johanna Northway (48) with children Moses Northway (15) Copper Miner, Mary Northway (12), son-in-law Richard Geake (24) Copper Miner born in Lifton, Devon, married daughter Emma Geake (22) Dressmaker and grand-daughter Hannah Geake (10/12) lived in Tavistock, Devon, England. [1]
In 1870 Richard Geake (34) Miner, wife Mary A Geake (28) with children Hannah Geake (9), John Geake (7) and Jane A Geake (6) emigrated from England on board the vessel Alumbagh and arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on 30 October 1870. [2]
She passed away in 1872, aged 12 [3] and was buried at the Eaglehawk Remembrance Park, Monumental BIX-28 on 22 August 1872.
