Biography

Catherine was baptised May 9, 1768 in St Germans, Cornwall. She is the daughter of Edward Geake and Mary Sargent.^[1]

Catherine, her brother Thomas and her sister Susannah all married siblings, children of John Husband and Joan Burnberry:

• Catherine married John Husband
• Thomas married Mary Husband
• Susannah married William Husband

She married John Husband on November 24, 1790 in Lezant, Cornwall. They both signed the parish register and they both were "of Lezant". Witnesses were Thomas Geake and Jas. Littlejohn.^[2]

Her maiden name was listed at the baptism of their daughter Catherine Husband in 1795 and in the parish register was just beneath the baptism of her sister Susannah's daughter, Mary Geake Husband.^[3]
