16 DEC 1902 TRARALGON RECORD WEDDINGS WILLIAMSON-GEALE. A very pleasing ceremony was performed on Wednesday afternoon last, when Mr Jos. Williamson and Miss Mary E. Geale, of the Ridge, Morwell, were united in the bonds of wedlock by the Rev. J. G. Wilson of Traralgon, at the residence of the bride's mother, there being a large number of relations and friends present. The bride, who was given away by her eldest brother (president of the Woorayl Shire), was prettily attired in cream silk, trimmed with silk applique and satin band. She also wore a wreath and veil. The bridesmaid, Miss Jenny Geale, wore cream silk, trimmed with silk lace. Mr John Geale (of Meeniyan), acted as best man. After the ceremony the company sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast, at which the usual toasts were duly honored. The happy couple left by the evening train for New South Wales amid showers of rice and well wishes. A number of useful and valuable presents were received.
