Biography
Mary was born in 1842. She is the daughter of Richard Geange and Jane Barber. At the age of 12 she and her parents and her brothers emmigrated to New Zealand at on board the ship 'Kate' . Her mother died on the journey over, heading for Australia from England.
First husband, Francis Charsley Searancke left her for another woman, Mary Jane went on to marry Thomas Ellis Jones
