Biography
Walter Budds Geappen was born on 21 October 1891 in Richmond, Victoria, Australia, the son of Elizabeth Geappen and Walter Geappen.[1][2][3]
He married Marvellio Barwell Knight in 1923.[4]
Walter joined the publishing firm William Collins (later part of HarperCollins) around 1919 and stayed in its employ for over 35 years.[5]
Walter died in 1962 in Mont Albert, Victoria, aged 70 years.[3]

Walter's birth appears to have been registered very late (1917).[1]
At one point, Walter's profile was connected as spouse to Mary Evelyn Wake. No sources have been provided or found for this marriage.
