Biography
Jürgen Christoph Gebhard was born in 1781. He is the son of Carsten Hinrich Gebhard and Anne Cathrine Stegen of Beverbeck farm no.5 in the Lüneburger Heide. In 1812, he married Anna Catharina Schmidt with whom he had one daughter. He inherited the farm from his father but passed away only three days after his father in 1818. His widow was married that same year by Peter Hinrich Harms who also took over the farm.
