Christina Gebhart was born on April 1, 1781, in Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania, her father, John, was 37, and her mother, Margaret, was 29. She had five sons and one daughter with Johannes Gebhart between 1800 and 1819. She died on August 21, 1870, in Miami, Ohio, having lived a long life of 89 years, and was buried in Gebhart Church Cemetery located in Miamisburg, Montgomery County, Ohio.
