John Gebhart Jr. is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A043928.

John George Phillip Gebhart was born in 1743, in Tulpehocken Township, Berks County Pennsylvania. He was a son of Georg Philip Gebhart (abt.1713-1792) and Anna Margaretha (Massa) Gebhart (1710-1783).[1]

He married Anna Margaretha (Lebo) Gebhart (1751-1833) in 1766 in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

John Philip Gehart and Anna Margaret Lebo had the following children:

His family migrated to Montgomery County, Ohio, USA in 1805.

John George Gebhart died in 15 May 1815 in Miamisburg, Montgomery County, Ohio, USA. He is buried in the Gebhart Church Cemetery, Miamisburg, Montgomery County, Ohio, USA.[4]
