Biography

William's baptism was recorded in 1738 after his sister Jean's. The record reads - The same persons had another called Wm born (illegible) Bapt 25th Octr 1735. Wits: Wm Smith & Wm Grigor in Elgin His death record says "William Geddie, a boy, lawful son to James Geddie lately in Binns now in Garmach [Garmouth], Cooper, dyed there Saturday June sixteenth 1750 buried at Essil next day afternoon."
