Biography

Jane was born about 1806. She was the daughter of John Geddie and Mary Benzie.

"William Fraser came to West Gwillimbury about 1835. He lived on part of lot 1, con. 6, at the east end of the village of Bond Head.

In 1834, he married Jane Geddie (1806-1841), and they had three children... Ebenezer born 1835, Mary Jane (1837-1874) and John Daniel (1839-1913), who mariied Martha McGeary from Bond Head in 1884..."
