Jacob Geddings was a South Carolinian.

Jacob Geddings was born in about 1839 in South Carolina, USA. His parents were John Geddings and Harriet Turner. ^[1]

He married Marguerite Unknown in about 1859.^[2] Together they had the following child:

He fought in the Civil War with the Confederate Army in Company H, 5th Calvary, S. C. V. as a private. ^[3]

He died on April 27, 1905, at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Lee Geddings near Pinewood, Sumter, South Carolina, United States. He had been stricken with paralysis in the Fall of 1903. ^[4]
