Anna Catharina Geduldig was born on October 3, 1826, in Bärweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, the daughter of Anna Gertrude Burggraf and Philip. She married Christantus Thome on April 26, 1850, in Bärweiler, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They had a daughter together and she died as a young mother on January 23, 1852, in her hometown.
