Dallastown, Richard N. "Dick" Geesey, 57, entered into rest Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at ManorCare, Dallastown.
He was born in York on April 5, 1959 to Ferne E. (Bricker) and Wayne H. Geesey. Both parents and his stepfather, Robert E. Clippinger, predeceased him.
He was a 1977 graduate of Dallastown Area High School where he was a forward on their 1976 York county championship basketball team.
In addition to his former wives, Wendy Grove of Red Lion and Karen Stine of Hughesville, Dick is survived by three children, Wayne N. Geesey and wife, April, Nevin R. Geesey and wife, Cailin, Kalena I. Seredych and husband, Jake; as well as five grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Dick's three older brothers will miss hearing his infectious laugh and watching Steelers football games with him, Gerry W. Geesey and wife, Teila, Kim R. Geesey, Ray E. Geesey and wife, Kathy. Also mourning his loss is his faithful labrador retriever, Cassie.
The John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. is assisting with arrangements. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Friends wishing to express their condolences to Dick's family may do so in person at an informal gathering on Sunday, December 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Victory Athletic Association, 471 S. Ogontz Street, York, where Dick was a long-time member.
