Albert Gehl has German Roots.

Albert W. Gehl was born on March 31, 1921, in Slinger, Wisconsin. his father, Michael Gehl, was 35 and his mother, Agnes Barris, was 32.

On 1 April 1930, Albert W Gehl age 9 was living on a farm his father owned valued at 5,000 dollars located in Hartford, Washington, Wisconsin with his widowed father and four siblings. Was attending school with two siblings Gertrude and Roland.[1]

On 1 April 1940, Albert M Gehl age 19 was living in a rented home valued at 2 dollars a month located on Lawn Dale Avenue in Slinger,Washington, Wisconsin.Was not attending school but had completed the 8th grade. Worked 65 hours as a Stable tender week prior to cencus. Worked 50 weeks in 1939 with an income of 216 dollars and no other sources of income. Enumerated on 12 April by Lester Peter Geldnick[2]

He died on March 9, 1974, in Hartford, Wisconsin[4][5], at the age of 52, and was buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.[6]
