Norma, I am at a road block with my great great grandmother Verena Siegenthaler Snyder who was born in Switzerland and died in Sheridan Co. Nebraska. Spellings were very fluid back then with both last names. My grandma always called her Ziggendollar. So I've come across a Daniel Siegenthaler that was born in Switzerland in 1818 who was married to Verena Sutter. Sounds promising. Is there any way to search Swiss birth records? Norma, I added your suggestions to the Absalom Butler profile. Thank you!

Norma, I just left a message with your sister Joy, and sent an email to Janet.

I have a significant match with you and Joy. Probably a less pronounced match with Janet. Our common grandparents are Absolom Butler and Jane Lane. If you can add anything to the Butler profiles that would be great. Hope to be in touch. Connie

Thank you Norma for contributing to Sarah Lane's profile. I see you live in North East Iowa. That's where many of the profiles I do are situated. Charles City, Floyd, Waverly, Mason City, Manly... Please feel free to explore. Connie (my childhood was in Sioux City)
