Biography

Rosalie was born in 1922. She was the daughter of John Geibel and Elizabeth Ritzert. She passed away in 2004. ^[1]

Rosalie M. Price, 82, of 116 Rabbitt Road, Chicora, died at 1:19 a.m. today at Butler Memorial Hospital after surgery. Born Jan. 11, 1922, in Donegal Township, she was a daughter of George C. and Elizabeth Waltman Geibel. She was a member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church of Chicora and the Altar-Rosary Society of the church. Surviving are a son; two daughters; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Two sisters; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her husband, Donald L. Price, whom she married July 25, 1942, died April 7, 1995. She was also preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters. PRICE - Friends of Rosalie M. Price, who died Friday, March 19, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Monday at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, 409 N. Main St., Chicora, with the Rev. David DeWitt officiating. Burial will be at Hemphill Cemetery, Chicora.
