Norman Geisinger was born 24 Dec 1860 at Rittman, Ohio the son of Joseph and Lydia (Scheibe) Geisinger.[1][2][3] He married Catherine Detweiler on Christmas Eve of 1896 in Ohio[4] and they had three children.
The family moved to Kansas in 1906 to a farm three and a half miles northeast of Plains. While building the house and a barn, the family lived in a cook shack loaned them by the real estate agent. The family lived in the small first home until a two story home was built in 1916.[5]
Clayton passed away at his home on 30 Dec 1925 after suffering a debilitating stroke early in that year.[1] He is interred at the Plains Cemetery.[6]
