Biography

Martha Argenta Geist was born in Shickshinny, Luzerne, Pennsylvania on 20 Jul 1915. She was the youngest of three children born to Bertha Rustay and Clark Geist. Argenta never married. She worked for the U.S. Public Health Service as a Senior Assistant Nurse at the Edward Hines, Jr., Veterans Administration Hospital in Maywood, Cook, Illinois. She died in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee on 24 Dec 1980. On 27 Dec 1980 she was buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Shickshinny, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.^[1]
