Biography
Robert Gell, son of James Gell and Mery Gell, was christened on 17 Sep. 1806 at Market Weighton, Yorkshire, England.[1]
He married Anne Wreggitt[1][2]
He was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 22 Aug. 1870 at Otter Creek, Tama, Iowa. He was listed next to his son, William.[3] He appeared on the census of 1881 in the home of his daughter at Holland, Grey, Ontario.[4]
