Living at 17b Nicholson Street, Glasgow in 1871 with Helen and John McNab (last sighting of John in records that I can find). See Census. Ancestry.co.uk
Two of John McNabs children...Jeannie and one other son (name?) had the middle name Wishart...after their Great Aunt. Must have been a close connection with her. I wonder if it was because Jane lived with her sister Helen for many years at Nicholson Street after their husbands had died.
Jane married James Wishart from Bute, a lovely Island in Scotland near Glasgow. He was a Wine Merchant. James was born on Bute and had many Wishart relatives there. I found many Wisharts there in the Census working as Cotton Spinners or Masons. It is a beautiful Island and was popular for summer holidays with Glaswegians. The Gemmills and McNabs went there for holidays with the Wisharts. They can be seen there in Census records. The Wisharts lived in lovely Kames Bay area. (I have deduced all this from the Census records).
1841 Scotland Census Parish Bute, Cumbraes (Jane Wishart and husband James...also Catherine McNab at 16)
