Anastasie Gendreau was born about 30 Jul 1846 and was baptized on 30 Aug 1846 in Sainte-Luce parish in Frenchville, Aroostook, Maine. She was the daughter of Eugene Gendreau, farmer, and his wife Luce Dominique. Godparents at Anastasie's baptism were Germain Pelletier and Marguerite Oaks [sic].
At age 20 Stasie married William Guillaume Michaud on August 4, 1866.
