Biography
Marie Angèle Gendron was born and baptized on 5 Nov 1812 in Notre-Dame du Rosaire parish of Saint-Hyacinthe, Bas-Canada. Her parents were Simon Gendron and Marie Louise Dion; the mother's name in the baptismal record is given as Marie Loüise Yon. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Philippe Chartier and Marie Archange Roireau.[1]
Marriage
Angèle Gendron, listed as a minor on the record, married Jean Baptiste Cadoret, minor son of Jean Baptiste Cadoret and Marie Royer, on 11 Jan 1831 in Notre-Dame du Rosaire parish of Saint-Hyacinthe. [2]In the presence of known witnesses Simon Gendron father and Simon Gendron brother of the wife Jean Baptiste Cadoret father and François Xavier Cadoret brother of the husband.
Death and Burial
Marie Angèle Gendron passed away on 6 Mar 1877 being given the age of around 74 years on the record and was buried in Saint-Simon, Québec, Canada.[3]
