Hyacinthe was born on 16 Aug 1812 in Sainte-Rosalie. He was the son of Pierre Gendron and Archange Roireau. At age 36 Hyacinthe married second wife Emilie Courtemanche on 21 May 1849 in Saint-Barnabé Sud. He died at age 89 on 25 Feb 1902 in Saco, York, Maine, and was buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Biddeford, York ,Maine.
