Evert Jacobsz Genis was baptized on 10 September 1747 in Hoorn, Noord-Holland, Nederland. His parents were Jacob Cornelisz Genis and Neeltje Koper. He married Jannetje Spaarkogel on April 12, 1776 ^[1].

Together they had 4 children:

1. Jacob Genis baptized in Hoorn on 6 April 1777 He possibly died young because the next son was again named Jacob
2. Geertruijd Genis Baptized in Hoorn on 17 July 1778
3. Jacob Genis Baptized in Hoorn on 1 October 1780 This Jacob possibly died young as well, because his brother baptized in 1784 is named Jan Jacob, so it looks like perhaps his parents after loosing two sons named Jacob decided to name their last (third) son slightly different and after both grandfathers..but not certain, so if this Jacob survived childhood he might be this Jacob Genis in Hoorn that's mentioned as apotheker in 1811 and 1824 and in 1826 ?
4. Jan Jacob Genis Baptized in Hoorn on 23 March 1784 (unfortunately his baptism isn't indexed but see his profile for actual scan / source)
