Mary was the wife of John Pingle Sr. She was the mother of nine children: Elisabeth Pingle, Carl Pingle, Mary Jane (Pingle) Brecht, John Pingle Jr., Virbena (Pingle) Spitler, Franklin Pingle, George Pingle, Rosetta (Pingle) Thompson and David Gage Pingle
