Antonino Gennusa is born around 1778 in Corleone, the son of Don Leoluca Gennusa and Donna Francesca Caronia.
Don Antonino marries Donna Rosa Boscarelli (“Buscarelli”), daughter of Don Gaetano Boscarelli and Donna Pietra d’Anna, on 18 June 1799. His father has died by this time.
Don Antonino and Donna Rosa have at least three children: Leoluca (1799), named after his paternal grandfather, Francesca (c. 1800), named after her paternal grandmother, and Gaetano (c. 1808), named after his maternal grandfather.
Leoluca is born five months after his parents marry, on 13 November 1799, and baptized the same day. His godparents are Don Giuseppe and Donna Serafina Gennusa, brother and sister.
In the 1802 Church census of the Borgo in Corleone, Don Antonino Gennusa, 24 (b. 1778), heads a household with Rosa, his wife, 19 (b. 1783); son Leoluca, 1 (b. 1801); and Francesca, a servant, 20 (b. 1782). Antonino's mother and unmarried siblings live next door.
Donna Francesca marries Don Salvatore Provenzano on 20 June 1820. Her mother has died by this time.
Don Gaetano marries Donna Marianna Triolo on 20 November 1828. His parents have both died by this time.
