Biography

Benjamin was born in Dec 1850. He was the son of Francis Geno and Mary J Crank. He passed away in 1930.[1]

One of at least 12 children of Mary Crank (1816-1871) and Francis Geno (1807-1896). His siblings included: Ann, Martha, Savannah, Edney, Eliza, John, Elizabeth, Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Rachel, and Lafayette.

He married in 1873 and would have at least six children, including: William L., Marion F., Edgar M., Delbert V., Andrew Lee, and Minnie V. In 1880, he was farming in District 11, Hardin County, Texas. The household included: B. F. Geno, age 29, born in Mississippi, Lusie C., age 24, born in Tennessee, William L., age 6, born in Tennessee; Mary F., age 3, born in Tennessee; and Edgar M., age 4 months, born in Tennessee.

By 1890, the family had moved to Oklahoma. The household included: Benjamin F., age 40; Lucy C., age 26; L. W., age 16; Marion, age 12; son, age 8; son, age 5; Lee, age 1. In 1900 they were living on a farm they owned in Lexington, Oklahoma (Cleveland County). The household included Benjamin F, Born Decamber 1850 in Mississippi; Lucy, born May 1856 in Tennessee, married 27 years, five children; Marian F., born march 1878 in Mississippi, Delbert V., born February 1885 in Tennessee; Andrew L, born February 1889 in Arkansas; and Minnie B., born November 1893 in Oklahoma.

In 1910, the only child still at home was sixteen year old Minnie. Benjamin and Lucy remained in Lexington, living alone in 1920 and 1930.
