Herbert Hadley Gensler was named after the current governor of Missouri at the time, Herbert Hadley.

Hadley and Minnie were married twice. First marriage was on on 30 Aug 1930 in Kansas City, KS. They were divorced on 23 Oct 1945 in Moberly, Randolph Co, MO. Second marriage was on 11 Sept 1948, in Livingston Co, MO.
