Biography
Winney Gentry was born in 1794 according to the 1850 census. Her parents were Arthur Gentry and Rebecca Barnet.[1]
On March 18, 1813, Winney married James Hembree in Anderson County, South Carolina. I can't find a source for this marriages.
According to the 1850 census, Winney lived with James and their children, D.H., Sophronia, Rebecca, and Didama, in Anderson County, South Carolina.[1]
Winney allegedly died in 1887 in Georgia. I can't find a source for this.
