Ensign John Geoghagan Sr served with 6th Maryland Regiment (1776), Continental Army during the American Revolution.

John Served in the Revolutionary War, first under Captain Samuel Smith in the 4th Maryland Regiment, and later as an Ensign in the 6th Maryland Line. Enlistment: February 20, 1777 End of Tour: Resigned January 20, 1778. John apparently "took ill" during his term of service and was declared an invalid.
