Biography
Daughter of Michael George and his wife Nancy Kelley George married Samuel Nelson George her first cousin 9 July 1849 in Greene County, Tennessee. Samuel enlisted 1 August 1862 in Company "I" First Tennessee Cavalry, USA at Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. After Martha died Samuel married Mary E. Broyles the widow of Smith Broyles.
