Biography
Margaret (George) Blanks is a part of US Black heritage.
Margaret ("Maggie") was born in 1877 in North Carolina. She married Daniel Blanks in 1899 in Columbus County, North Carolina. In 1900 they were living in Bogue, Columbus County where they farmed. Maggie had at least two children with Daniel before passed away in 1906 at the age of 28. She was buried in Mitchellfield Cemetery in Columbus County.

She may be the daughter of Samuel and A.M. George, listed with them in the 1880 census in Bogue as "Magnolia George".
