Biography
Hagar (George) Baldwin is a part of US Black heritage.
Hagar was born about 1849 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of York George and Evelina High.
Hagar married Peter Baldwin in 1872. They raised a large family in Welches Creek, North Carolina. She was widowed sometime between 1900 and 1910. She continued to live in Welches Creek until she passed away there in 1934. Hagar was buried in Welches Creek Cemetery.
