Biography

William Gower George was born in 1876 to Caleb George and Mary Ann Cooper at Aston, Warwickshire, England. He immigrated to Rhode Island in 1888. He was married in 1900 census to Ida Elizabeth Pimm. Together they had two daughters.

William Gower George, age 23, a shipping clerk and resident of Providence, Rhode Island, born in England, the son of Caleb & Mary A., married Ida Elizabeth Primm in Providence on 4 April 1899. She was also a resident of Providence, age 25, born in Hartford, Connecticut, the daughter of William & Amelia S.[1]
