Biography

David was the son of David & Mary George. His 12 February 1673/4 birth was recorded in the Christ Church Parish Register in Middlesex County, Virginia, as were the births of his siblings, Alice 4 December 1671, and John George 6 July 1675.

He was married to Catherine. Her last name at birth has not been determined but the births and/or baptisms of their children were also recorded in the Christ Church Parish Register.

Catherine George died 26 September 1718. David made his last will dated 21 September 1723 naming his sons, John, Harry, and James, and daughter Jeane. He died 19 December 1726. His estate was administered by upon by John George.^[1] Two Court Orders were issued 2 May 1727, one described as an appraisal of sundry goods received from England belonging to the estate of David George, the second appraised a few goods belonging to the estate of John Meacham. Both appraisals were recorded 6 June 1727.^[2]
