Biography
Elizabeth George was a daughter of Henry George & Elizabeth Beck. She married about 1826, probably in Westmoreland Co., PA, to Christian Bash, son of John Bash & Magdalena Lauffer. Christian & Elizabeth had at least 5 children: Henry John, Magdalena, Maria, Israel, & Mary Ann.
Christian Bash died at age 53, and Elizabeth at age 52. No legible gravestones have been found for them. An online canvas of Amsterdam Cemetery in Liberty township misspells their surname as Baah, probably due to a misreading of a badly worn headstone.
