Biography

William was baptised on 29 Aug 1790.[1]

From the marriage registry[2] of Rev. John Langhorn: Paul Egnier, Amherst Island; Margret E. Asselstine, Amherst Island; 26 Feb 1812. Witnesses Daniel Richards, John Howard, Wm. George, Jeptha Hawley.

Death date post-1840, the year in which William, residence Ernestown, received his Orders in Council as son of a UE Loyalist:

In his "George" family files, Burleigh records a William George (1798-1853) who married a Jane Rowe (died 1856) and they had sons William, Samuel and John.[3]
