The Jean Georgeson married to John DOULL is assumed to be the Jean born to William & Jean (DOULL) GEORGESON by naming pattern of her children, date and the Knapperfield connection. Note: Marriage entry reads: "John Doull in Cogill & Jean Georgeson in Knaperfield was contracted in order to marriage & after the ordinary proclamations & no objections offered their marriage was solemnized on the 28th"[3][4][5][6]
The couple had at least two children: Catherine Doull and Joseph Doull. Joseph Doull, son of John Doull and Jean Georgeson, was born about 1806 and baptised in Watten, Caithness, on 5 October 1806.[7]
