Biography
Christiana was born about 1808. She married William Dodge around 1830. Elizabeth and William, plus their four children, Elizabeth, William, Jane and Joseph arrived into Wellington aboard "Clifton" on 17 February 1842. They departed Gravesend, near London, on 2 October 1841 as steerage passengers. The record of their passage reads: [1]

- wife Kesdiana, age 30
- 2 boys, aged 8 and 3, named Wm and Joseph
- 2 girls, aged 10 and 5, named Elizth and Jane
- under "Remarks" we see the name of Mr Rawlings, Fordingbridge
Christiana passed away about 1885 aged 77.
