Biography
ERNEST E. GERARDOT, 50, of Carmel, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospice, Indianapolis. He was born Jan. 9, 1962 in Fort Wayne, son of Leonard S. and Aleta R. (Singer) Gerardot. He graduated from Heritage in 1980 and received his bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from BSU in1984. He was employed at NTS Development in Carmel. Surviving are siblings, Jeanne Koch of Harlan, Lois (Neil) Ternet of Monroeville, Joyce (Steve) Seward of Fort Wayne, Jill (Daryll) Averyhart of Columbia, S.C., Mary Gerardot of Fort Wayne, Jane (Dave) Ward of Kendallville, Lisa (Rob) Sefranek of Montgomery, Ill, Mark Jennair) Gerardot of Greer, S.C., and Barry (Jana) Gerardot of Leo. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Nora Orr. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Meridian Hills Mortuary, Indianapolis.
