Maria (Gerber) Windholz was a Volga German.

Anna Maria Teresia Gerber was born in 1747 in Germany, there's a burial date of 28 February 1791 for Anna Maria Windholz, in Graf, Russia.[1] Maria Teresia Gerber and her brother Anton Andreas Gerber were orphans. Maria Teresia and Anton Windholz met and married in the town of Rossiau, Germany, on the 28th day of May 1765.[2]

Anton Windholz born 1739, Germany, arrived in Graf, Russia June 1766, age 27, married Maria Terezia Geber, age 19, her ten year old brother, Anton Andreas Gerber, accompanied them.[3]

Anton and Maria Terezia were not on the 1798 census records, youngest son Joseph was living in the household of brother Lorenz Windholz.[4]
