Biography
Peter Gerdsen was born in 1870 in Chewton, Victoria, Australia, son of Louisa (Williams) Gerdsen and Hans Peter Gerdsen.[1]
He married Mary Laity in 1899 in Victoria.[2] Their children were:[citation needed]
- Louisa Irene Gerdsen (1900–1972)
- Thomas Henry Gerdsen (1902–1980?)
- Hedley Peter Gerdsen (1904–1969)
- Frederick Gilbert Gerdsen (1906–1980)
- Bessie Jane Gerdsen (1913?–2009)
Peter died before 28 June 1920 in Golden Square, Victoria, aged about 49 years.[3] His remains were buried at Bendigo Cemetery - Mon O4, grave 24709, interment 24709. Date of service June 28, 1920.[4]
