Biography
Mary Jane Gerrity (or Garrity or Gerraughty) was born about 1867/1868 in Ireland.[1][2] Her parents were Joseph Gerrity and Jane Laren, according to her marriage record.[1]
She emigrated to America around 1887.[2]
Mary Jane Gerraughty married Thomas Donnelly on 18 Sept 1890 in Watertown, Massachusetts.[1]
In the 1900 US census, Mary J Donnelly (32) and Thomas Donnelly (37) were living in Watertown, Massachusetts, with children Joseph (9), Sarah (8), John (6), Jennie (4) and Bernard (2).[2]
She passed away in 1945.
Research Note
Mary Jane Gerety was born on 26 Jan 1865 in Ballymahon, County Longford, Ireland. She was the daughter of Joseph Gerety and Kame Levens Gerety.[3] Possible same person but with misspellilng of mother's name Jane? This would place her birth as 1865.
