Parent of a Volga German

Elisabeth Gerhard was the first wife of Grimm immigrant Johann Georg Waag. She was born around 1730 in Sprendlingen, the daughter of Johann Nicolaus Gerhard.

According to information from the Center for Volga German Studies at Concordia University, she and her husband also had a son named Ludwig, born about 1753, but I could not find a birth record for him.

Elisabeth passed away around 1760 in Sprendlingen.
