She was born in August 1905 and was the daughter of Vittel (Seidman) and Moshe Geringer.
She came to USA on Austrian passport under surname of Sharfstein. Upon arrival changed it to father's surname of Geringer.
Rosa "Rose" Geringer married Benjamin Weinraub (1898-1973).
She died in August 1990 at about age 84 in New York City, New York, USA.[1] [2]

Austria and Romania are the same place. The region called Bukavina was in Austria-Hungary prior to World War I, Romania between the wars, and is now Ukraine. Sinces he was born in 1905, it would have been Austria-Hungary.
