Biography

Thomas was baptised on 12 March 1614/5 at Trowbridge St James to John Gerish of Stafferton, Trowbridge.^[1][2]

Thomas was a clothier of Bromham.^[3]

Thomas married Hester Richards, spinster of Bromham, aged 24, by licence in Bromham, at the reported age of 29.^[3] The bondsman for his marriage licence was John Self of Bromham.^[3]

Seeing as Thomas' wife was reported to be a widow at the time of her burial on 4 February 1665/6, it can be inferred that Thomas died in or before 1665/6.^[4]
