Biography

Katharina was born on 16 Dec 1827, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Lauer) Germann. A birth record has not been found. Katarina's date-of-birth was taken from her gravestone.

In 1837 Katharina emigrated to the United States with her parents and siblings,[1] settling in Van Wert County, Ohio.

In 1846 Katharina married Peter Kreischer in Van Wert.[2]

Katharina died in 1916 and is buried in the Evangelical Protestant Cemetery in Harrison Township, Van Wert County, Ohio.[3]
