Biography

John Germein was born around 1811 in Plymouth, Devon to John Germein and Christina Easton.

In 1836 he married Olinda Gover.^[1]

The following year they emigrated to Adelaide on the ship South Australian with John's brothers Samuel and Ben, and his sister Thirza and her husband William Doddridge.^[2]
